The rules for using DMtheFounder
What we do
DMtheFounder lists early engineering roles posted by startup founders, so you can contact them directly by email or on X. Listing a job and contacting founders are both free.
Listings
- Roles collected from X show the founder's post with a link to the original. Founders can ask us to remove their post text or the whole listing at any time.
- We review listings but can't guarantee that a role is still open or that a founder will reply.
- We may remove listings that look misleading, are from recruiters, or are no longer open.
Contacting founders
- Founder email addresses are shown only to signed-in users, for contacting them about the role. Don't copy them into lists, sell them, or use them for anything else.
- Write to founders as yourself and only send true information.
- Hiring decisions are made by the company, not by us. We are not part of your conversation with the founder.
Your account
You sign in with a one-time email link. Keep access to your email account secure. We may suspend accounts used for spam, scraping or harassment.
Acceptable use
Don't scrape the site in bulk, create accounts to collect founder emails, send spam, or post jobs you're not authorized to post.
No warranty
The site is provided as is. We are not responsible for decisions made by companies or applicants.
